About

Jesse Kreuzer is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City, currently collaborating with Traven Labotz on a large scale Stained Glass window about the collapse of American democracy. His most recent works are densely populated WPA style murals depicting civil unrest. The paintings contemplate the flag and standard bearer as symbols of democracy, progress, and justice, as well as exclusion, oppression and white-identity. Painted in the street alongside protesters and pedestrians, the murals are meant to be understood in the context of this historical moment.
